On January 21, 2017, thousands of people descended upon the Texas State Capitol for the Women’s March on Austin. Final estimates put attendance in the 100,000 range.

I participated in the march with a handful of strong women, including friends, family and strangers (we weren’t strangers by the end of the day). We represented students, workers, mothers, daughters, Texans, and everything in between.
